Transformational Decor – My Blue Bell Wedding Planning

One ballroom for two different functions? Solution

Our Friends, Ishaan and Pratiksha got married at Blue Bell venue this March. As there are sound restrictions beyond 10 pm for an outdoor event, they choose to have both their evening functions namely the sangeet and reception indoor at the banquet hall. Blue Bell Wedding has only one ballroom that can hold a capacity of 300 guests and hence we were left with no choice but to use the ballroom for both the big events on both nights. Though Blue Bell Wedding’s ballroom is a stunning venue with pretty chandeliers and tall celings, Ishaan and Pratiksha were adamant they wanted a totally different ambience on both days. We promised them that we would make it feel like

Challenge :

To design and execute a theme which completely transforms the way the ballroom looks for the wedding reception.

SANGEET TRANSFORMATION:
We advised them that if you want to turn your venue into another world, choose a strong theme on the first night and change the theme on the second night. After a lot of deliberation, we opted for ‘Hollywood meets Bollywood’ theme for the sangeet as Ishaan is from London and Pratiksha is a desi girl! Here we went all out with a filmy Bollywood inspired stage, custom made movie posters of the bride and groom, lots of movie world accents like film reels, VIP entrance with barricades, red carpet entry and photo opportunity booths. We provided full room draping, carpeting throughout and mood lighting as well for added effect. Radisson’s ballroom is beautiful in itself and these enhancements made our theme come through on the first night.

From The Bride:
If anybody  wanted a Palace wedding and my husband wanted a beach one. We explored all options across the country to find the perfect venue but realised that we were always drawn back to this city, our city. Our love for Mumbai never let us leave and we decided to get married at the Blue Bell Wedding, one of the most prestigious ones in the city. The history and structure of the hotel indulged me because it's a palace of sorts while the location fulfilled my husband's need to get married by the sea. As we were getting married in the end of November 2017, an outdoor location is what we wanted and so we decided to have our mandap at the Chamber's Lawn at the Taj which overlooks the Gateway Of India and the Arabian Sea. It was a sunset wedding, literally out of my dreams! After an intimate affair of 200 people, we then proceeded to the Crystal Room for the Wedding Reception that had over 500 invitees.

Best Ideas for Maintaining a Corporate Event Venue

Corporate Event: Recently, I produced an event for a long time client and thought I would share some corporate event venue that I used during the process of planning this event. I find planning corporate special events just as challenging as planning any other type of event and here are a few tips to think about when considering corporate event planning. Like any other event, determine a budget when planning corporate events and follow it through. It seems across the board corporate event planning budgets have decreased, and in the case of this event, I suggested to the client that we even cut the budget more than in previous years as a start and then if need be, add to the budget later. Our strategy worked since it seems that vendors as well as event planning providers understand that there are less events happening and are more willing to work within the budget you provide and still help create an outstanding event. Corporate Event Ideas: One of the corporate ...

Booking Your Affordable Wedding Venue

Whoever says size doesn't matter is wrong. If you have 60 people attended your wedding reception, you want to find a Wedding Venues in PA that accommodates around 60-80 people. Why get a great venue that holds 150 people then not even half fill it, your wedding guests will be rattling around inside, and all atmosphere will be lost. Assuming you're planning a DJ or Band for the evening's entertainment for your wedding guests, then ensure they have enough space to set up their equipment, consider where you can visualise the wedding party dancing and see if there is room for the entertainment to set up. If you are planning a big wedding breakfast at the venue, speak to your wedding venue and ask how they will arrange all the tables, they may say they can accommodate hundreds of wedding guests but if they are sticking tables down the corridor, your guests will feel left out. In short, when searching for the perfect venue, ensure you visit the venue, don...
